Dick Cheney '94: Invading Baghdad Would Create Quagmire - Updated
Update :
This is an interview by Jon Stewart with Stephen F. Hayes, author of Cheney: The Untold Story of America's Most Powerful and Controversial Vice President, in which they discuss the reasons behind the change of views and why this opinion of his was hidden by the Bush administration during the run-up to war, given that he was among the staunchest supporters of the war.

Hmm good premonition and future speculation. How come nobody listened to him since he has been saying this since 1994 ?
nothing that you wouldnt expect from cheney, as it is said that he is the main backer of the war
Fe Aman Allah
Well somebody has to keep his construction company in business, and whose going to look at better for this clown's interest but himself. Are you reading the sarcasm in my typed words?
- so does hunting with a shotgun wearing glasses, Dick!
@ Highlander :
"How come nobody listened to him since he has been saying this since 1994 ?"
How can you blame the rest, if he hasn't been listening to himself. It seems to be a trait among Republicans and their supporters :P.
@ a_akak :
In the clip he was actually making statements against the war not for it, but it seems he changed his mind later on.
"it is said that he is the main backer of the war"
Yes he was and now he is the main backer for the war against Iran.
@ ibeebarbie :
"Are you reading the sarcasm in my typed words?"
Yes and I was laughing my head off, but talking of business isn't it strange that before the war whenever the price of oil went up the US government would be grilling OPEC and now that they have a bigger share ( getting a cut of the profits ) in the Middle eastern and African oil ( Libya, Algeria and Iraq ) their voices can't be heard .
LOL @ safia .... I guess he didn't get that memo :P.

I just love John Stewart! Raises outstanding questions. The first being - Does Dick have a cinnamon candle burning in his office while meditating. Oh my goodness I'm almost fell off my chair laughing so hard.
Yes, I was watching at a friends house last night and we were laughing so hard at the whole episode ( it was all about Cheney last night ). You know you can catch it, online, on the next day of its airing here, there is even an archive of all the previous episodes.
