Senator Ron Paul on the US policy of foreign intervention and the war on terror

During the first Republican Presidential debate senator Ron Paul made a very strong case against the war in Iraq and foreign intervention as a foreign policy for the US ( he is the only Republican Presidential candidates to have voted against the war in Iraq ).

In the second of the Republican Presidential debates which was broadcasted live on Fox news senator Ron Paul argues against the notion that the terrorists of 9/11 attacked the US because of its liberty and wealth which got him into a scuffle with Rudy Giuliani .

This is an interview with him after these debates on the Bill Maher's show "Real Time With Bill Maher" where he further explains his position and mocks Guiliani with a number of other guests, that include Ben Affleck.

If you don't have time to watch all three clips start with the last one it kinda sums it up. I hope you enjoy it and tell me what you think of it :).

excellent vids ph.. old Ron Paul is getting more and more support by the day thanks to the courageous work of true patriotic americans.. Hell still get a load of flak though.

There are other videos on google and youtube in which he explains the farce of the Fed Reserve System, and money in general... its very important to watch.

You know he is riding on a platform to abolish the IRS if elected president!! that's how honest this candidate is about the serious plight of America which Billions in the world seem oblivious to.

Great Post!!! Salam

Yes they asked him about it in the first debate :P, but I don't think he will get elected as a Republican If he became a democrat he would stand a better chance.

those demorats are just playing on an equally harmful libratarian teaching though and he is a true conservative at heart, so there is no way he would be in the democrats camp. I think he is correct in stating that he republican party, before it got really perverted, was an anti-war party.

There maybe truth to that, but they weren't against foreign intervention they just used more subtler methods ;), he mentioned Reagan as an example.

"those demorats are just playing on an equally harmful libratarian teaching though"

Not all of them, John Edwards isn't that bad he has a lot in common with Kennedy?

"he is a true conservative at heart, so there is no way he would be in the democrats camp"

true I was just speaking sarcastically and making the point that he would never become president, because not much of the conservative voters agree with him :).

I'm really impressed with Ron Paul. He is knowledgable, principled, wise, and has commen sense!

This man is clearly the dream candidate for the presidency. But I dont think he has much of a chance as the mainstream media keep sweeping him under the rug... but thank god for the internet :)

Another Libyan Ron Paul fan.
I´m happy. I´ve been a fan for years, wishing I was an American citizen just to vote him into the White House.
